5 Items You’ll Find In My Bag

Hi lovelies! I can’t believe we’re only two months away from Christmas! With everything that has happened this year and all that 2020 has thrown at us, I can’t help but be thankful that we’re still here and basically thriving! I’ll drink to that..

It was Christmas 2013 as we prepared and patiently waited for the arrival of our baby girl. Everything was set and in place at home, we were fully ready. It was a planned c-section. I remember that night because we had gone shopping with grandma earlier in the day and were exhausted, getting ready for bed when baby girl decided she had other plans.

Fast forward to us hurriedly getting to the hospital and the doctor telling us...the time is now! Hubby and I looked at each other and the first thing I blurted out was “where’s baby’s bag”?!

Whilst this journal isn’t really about my labour story (even though it brings back so many cute memories) it’s more about my bag! Yes.. things I just can’t leave the house without. I’m guessing you have them too? Anyway, humour me.. you just might find it interesting *wink*
Tissues

From makeup smudges to kids being kids, you can’t be too careful but you can be prepared. My little Cushelle isn’t far from my reach.

Perfume

Since attaining the working mummy role, I’m always on the move. This one is just an extra.. I have make sure I smell as yummy as I look at all times. Very essential!

Hand Sanitizer

I can assure you this has always been in my bag even before 2020. The fact that I can throw in my LOG gel sanitizer in my tiny purse is pure bliss. Germs be gone.

Compact Powder

I’ve got an oily skin type and so I need to stay on top of my T-zone. A little touch up here and there, I’m good to go and all is well in the world again.

Phone Charger

Its true, I can’t go for hours without my phone and so I need to be prepared. I may forget my tissue or carmex but never my phone charger.

LOG Cosmetics
That’s my list guys!

A friend and I were having this conversation the other day and surprisingly she had a pen on her list and I just realised that’s the one thing I always forget. Oh that and safety pins!

I’d love to know what you lovelies carry around in your bags and why.

Don’t forget to give someone a compliment today.. you just may be making their day!

Love & Light Always
